Hello,

is there a way to import customers? And more important, where do I set a customer number and how can I show it in the invoice template?

Thanks and regards, Benjamin Klyeisen.

    Hello,

from a CSV file or Excell for example. But a more important case is also the customer numbers.

there's no CSV import option for customers...

about the number: can you use the VAT ID number found in the contact form?

    Hello,

sorry, VAT ID as customer number is no option. And I got over 900 customers to copy from the old invoice software to a new one. I tried to figure this out with the demo but there where some options I could not access from the demo and got hope that there would be a switch to turn those features on in some way.

Anyway, is there a way to get a refund?

    Regards Benny.

but the only way to import users from another system would be to have a custom script built for it... (what is your old component, by the way? is it a joomla component?)
such custom import script is something that could be developed for you with our Custom Coding Service.

    Hello,

I am working with "FreewareFaktura", did work :p There is only an option to export as CVS. Then I tried "e-conomic", but this turned out to be much to big for me. Now I need a fast solution to go on with. Because I got orders and can not deliver because I can not write invoices.
Because of that I switched now to "Lexoffice" and allready imported all my contacts in the last 2 hours (the CSV needed some tuning). I think I am fine with that now. Sorry but I have to deliver tomorrow and can not wait for special codings.

Not your fault. I think I only got too less time to test or ask before. But maybe you have some nice features to think over and implement ;-)

    Regards, Benny.

what this makes me think is that you could import the Contacts info directly into the Database table. since the table is pretty straighforward (you know.. Name, email, etc) and phpMyAdmin has an import function, you would use it to directly import the CSV into the invoice manager contacts table using directly the mysql interface. do you know what I mean?
