Custom Order State in Virtuemart Plugin

Hello,
I have a custom state order for Virtuemart for the invoices but I can't see it in the Invoice Manager plugin, How can I do it?

    you would need to add this state directly into the plugin's XML config file, which is located in the same folder as the plugin itself.

    Do you have any idea for a solution for the next updates? If I will update it will be replaced.
