Hello, purchased this a short while ago and have not used until my site was near completion.,but now i am trying to use and dont fully understand how it works..
im trying to set up different variations of all 3 modules but im not understanding.,, all system and component plugins are confirmed installed and published,,,and i can see pages of data in my content statistics component backend,,,,
my rankings module... seems to be worki./ng properly,,,,
my content statistics individual.... (not sure if im misunderstanding this one but i was assuming that this was to show the individual his own stats) however when i set it up it will show data to not logged in user when visiting profiles,,,but the actual user who i want to display their views data to just shows a strait line in the line graph.,,. it is also showing this to the viewer but not the profile owner>>>
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/modules/mod_content_statistics_compare/helper.php on line 244
heres my setup,,,,for contentent statistics compare
content provider: comprofiler
content criteria: user profile views
Selector: all user
Filter by viewing user: no
content provider 2:comprofiler
content criteria: User list views
Selector: all User
.........
mod content statistics individual........
Content Provider: comprofiler
Content Criteria:
Selector: current user profile
Filter by viewing user: no
Is there a misconfiguration on my end or is there a defect somewhere in my files?
#1...Also can you tell me which module to use to display users cb profile views by other users to the profile owner only,,,
#2...also what to put in the content values and selector areas to achieve content modules for himself and general content modules for all users to see stats on other fields,,,
and when should i use the filter by?
sorry for all the details ,,trying to make it easier for you to assist me and understand what i want to do
thanks

0but, the modules you describe, are showing data, correct? I'm not sure if I understand exactly what data you want to show...
about the Compare modules.. you are comparing hits to the profile pages against hits to a list view.. is that really what you need?
#1 it's the individual (the one you're using). it will show ALL hits to that user profile. but then you have to filter by "current user profile"
#2 what you mean "content modules for himself" exactly? -

0Hey thanks, some data is showing and the errors are gone btw...when i changed my configs so im pretty sure theres nothing wrong other than my understanding,,
ill tell you what i mean
Im using this module ..Module mod_content_statistics_individual..
i wanted to show a cb profile owner how many visits he received from other users..
it shows well when i set it up as
content provider: comprofiler
Content criteria: user profile views
Selector: all users
filter by viewing user: yes
and it shows data
But im thinking im supposed to use [current] as the [selector] and when i do it will not display data to profile owner
so im thinking i just need a better understanding of wnen to use which [selectors] and wnen to use which [filter by viewing user] option
also just to be sure...
i use compare_individual when i want to show profile owner their content views by other users ...
and i use compare module when i want to show general stats for to all users...
does this sound correct or am i misunderstanding that too?
thanks -

0yes, that's correct, you are supposed to use "current", to consider only the current user page..
about the second, you say "content views by other users", but you mean to a "current" article?
look, I think maybe it's a good idea if you can give me access to your site so I can take a look..
can you send me joomla admin access at joomlastatistics@gmail.com?
