Hi,
I have been using Content Statistics successfully so far. However, I haven't exported the stats from the backend since a while.
When I logged in today, and tried to download the CSV File from the backend the follwoing error message occurred:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method JText::_sprintf() in /home/www/web47/html/schniderjoomla/administrator/components/com_contentstats/controller.php on line 64
This error occurs irrespective of the number of rows I want to export.
Please advise.
Sabina

0Hi, I am also have a problem with my CSV export, whereby, I have used the comma as the separator, but the problem is that it breaks up fields with data separated by commas into columns in the excel file. For example using the attached screen shots, the "screen shot from content stats.jpg" shows the User's name as "John, Smith" for example, but on exporting, the excel file has taken the second part of the name to a column used by another type of data. I have tried using a period as a separator but the output in csv is not readable. kindly help -

0Yes I have, but the result when you export to excel is not readable as when you do a comma. Check attached excel screen shot-
Germinal Campsmore than a month agoit's strange that your Excel is opening it that way.. but if you want, please send me access to the website at support@ joomlathata.com and I'll take a look to see that everything's ok.
thanks!

0Hi Kagai,
I've tried to simulate your problem in my environment. Even with Commas in the content of the field (like name) the CSV File opens correctly in Excel.
It looks to me as if your settings in Excel might prevent from formatting correctly. Check out whether there's options.
Maybe you can use the import option instead of opening directly. There you should be able to select what the column separators are.
I won't attach a screenshot as my Excel application runs in German and might be confusing to you.
The import function is under the Tab Data and then there should be something like "import from Text".. then follow the assistant
Hope this is helpful
Sabina
P.S. Otherwise: it is not too bad to have the name split into two columns is it? Just insert one more column and Combine the content of the two columns... (there's a funciton in excel doing that.. in German it would be =VERKETTEN(A14;", ";B14)
