Hi,
1) can the form be customized with different fields for the "request a new affiliate link", and can I change that heading in the ini files? (attached 222.jpg)
2) I dont understand how the different levels of commission work. can you explain this or show me an example in the demo? (attached 11111.jpg)
3) I am wondering if this is the correct product for me. I am not interested in measuring traffic from the affiliate. What I need is a system to keep track of people that bring me leads. If they bring me a qualified lead and I sell my product, then I simply pay a flat rate to the affiliate that brought me the lead. I also need a way to do levels of commision: for example, if an affiliate brings me 1-4 leads that month, they get $50 per lead. If they bring over 5 leads per month, they get $100 per lead, etc. I am wondering if I can do that in my #2 question????
4) So, does this system automatically pay someone or do I have to approve it and then the payment is automatically sent to their paypal acct/wired? How does this work? Am I able to just schedule payments automatically monthly?

01. you can change the heading in ini files, but you cannot add "more fields" without some custom coding being done.. (the database has the fields fixed, so if you want more, some coding is necessary)

3. you can do that with Affiliate Tracker (tracking leads, paying affiliates). However, NO, the "multi level" affiliation does not refer to what you are describing (5 leads per month, 10, etc). This part is not possible AUTOMATICALLY. But please remember that you can change the commissions on every conversion manually. So, you may have a default basis that is $50 per sale. Then, if you see an affiliate is bringing you more, then you can simply manually override this number and set it to $100 or whatever...
it will NOT be an automatic action, but you can do it manually quite easily.
4. the system does NOT pay automatically. It will track the sales automatically, but when you want to PAY you need to actually "trigger" the pay action. Meaning you will see a button to pay with paypal, and you will have to click on it, log into paypal and process the payment. -

0Thanks for the info. Ok, this is what i want to accomplish. Can you tell how I can use your product for this:
1. I want to have a person create an account
2. I want to track people (referral leads) they send me, NOT LINKs
3. At the end of the month, I want to be able to look at how many people (by name) they sent me.
4. I want to be able to approve/not approve the peoples names they sent.
So,
1. So if BOB SMITH signed up and he sent me MARY JONES, HILLARY POST and BILL FOLEY, how do I just approve one or all three for BOB SMITH to get paid on? Does BOB have to keep setting up an account with the different names he sends me? Do I need "multiple affiliates for this?" There will be noone below BOB as an affiliate. I want just top level affiliates that are able to show me NAMES only of people they send me, and I can approve the people or not for the affiliate to get paid on.
I sure hope this makes sense.

2. what you mean "not links". a referral they send you is a click on a link.
3. yes.. assuming these people register. right? (otherwise, how would you know the name)
4. yes, assuming #3
in your example: you can approve the conversions manually, there's no problem. When MARY, HILLARY and BILL sign up, they will be tracked as "conversions", but they will be unapproved, until you decide to approve them.
you don't need the multi-level for what you're describing. -

02. I am NOT using affiliate links. I need to use the link section as "people". I am tracking leads (people) that the person that signs up sends me

I want to know if I can track and pay how many people (not affiliate links to a website page) Bob sends me? Is there a way to track that he sent me 3 people and what their names were (Mary, Hilary and Bill). Can Bob continuously enter people (leads) he sends me under his account???
So when someone creates an account, how do they keep adding people (and where, in the account section?) instead of links as what is being tracked for me to pay them on? -

02. I don't understand what you mean. the whole system works with "links". an affiliate places the affiliate links in their site. when people click on them, they're taken to your site, and the system identifies those users. that's how it works. No links = No system at all.
how are you "tracking leads" if not using links? how would you know how many people "bob sends you" otherwise? -

0Hi sorry for the confusion.
I just need a system to track and pay leads Bob sends me. The leads are just people (names). Would this work with your system? Can he enter people (names) instead of affiliate links so I can determine how many leads he sent by name, and pay him on the number of leads? With your product, am I able to enter names instead of URL's and it will still keep track of how many people (just like links), Bob sent me? Or, is this the wrong system for me?
Most CRM's or lead tracking types of joomla components dont allow me to pay the lead from the system (where the person, like Bob, can enter how he wants to get paid, like in your system: Paypay or Wire Transfer). -

0that's not possible with our system, at least not "out of the box".
What you're asking for is not really an Affiliate System. I mean.. "Bob" could just lie to you and enter names.. couldn't he?
in any case, what you ask for could be customly build in into the system for you, but no, it's not directly possible with the extension as is.- -

0no, what is going to happen is Bob will send me leads and if I make the sale, I pay Bob. So I need a system that will let someone:
1. create an account
2. enter lead names they send me
3. and if I make the sale, I go back to the system and match up the name in Bob's account, and pay him thru the system for only the names I sold.
its that simple. -
