Question about Refer URL field

Hello,

I've read the documentation about the Refer URL field, but would like to ask one question about it:

If the field has an URL (say, mysite.com) any link to our site included in mysite.com will be tracked into the corresponding account, right? So even if the affiliate partner didn't use a link with his "?atid=X", the visits and conversions will still be tracked?

yes, every link will be tracked into the account.

the affiliate partner does not have to use the ?atid=X, precisely.

no, that's not possible. This would require custom coding work.

I see Germinal, thank you.

One last question, if the Refer URL field contains a domain, but a link with the ?atid=X comes from a different domain, that referral is still computed right?
