Defining different affiliate types

Is it possible to have different affiliate types with a different percent and user group assigned so that when they register they are assigned to a different user group?

You are limiting the application by only having one affiliate type.

    no, there's no way to do that automatically (how would the system decide to which group should the user be assigned on register?)

    you can change manually any affiliate's percentage in their account.

    have a radio button for affiliate type and then based on that assign the person to the right group. The idea is to have one group get commission monthly based on reoccuring subscriptions and the other group gets a one time commission.

    but a radio button, where? for the user to choose, when he registers?
    in any case, there's no such option in affiliate tracker..
