Statistic - Song Play Numbers "bug"

A small "bug" here...

For the statistic of top played songs, it seems that every time an album is loaded, the first song is always counted as one play. Even if the user doesn't push the play button. This messes up the statistics for top played songs. As it stands now, the first song of every album will trend to have the most plays. Can this be solved?

Also... is manually editing the database the only way we can reset statistics for songs, etc?

    After doing some more testing... this only happens when I try to use the JW v5 player. Song play statistics are counted correctly when using the JW v4 player. I will wait till the v5 integration is added. Thanks!

    yes, I'm aware of this. our new jwplyaer version, which uses 5, solves this error.

    we will release it soon. meanwhile... you should use the jwplayer we serve along with the component... if you use another one, we are not responsible for that wrong behavior.. ;)
