Is there a way to establish a user as the owner of the Artists or Band?

I am using Jomsocial and when I try to add an album it redirects me to add artists first.

I would like to have the Artist register upload there own music but I have a few where they were already uploaded.

    no.. the artist owner is the CREATOR of the artist..!

    That stinks. There must be a way, maybe in the database because I really want the albums of a joomsocial user to show up in there profile under My Albums

    Any thoughts?

    well, in the database you can do it of course!
    I meant there is no direct way to do it on the FORM

    in the database: it's the user_id field of the jos_muscol_artists database table.
