The mass import of songs needs to be improved. Eventually mass song import should be done with ftp and the reading of the ID3 tags. This is probably more difficult to implement than it sounds but this would be such an awesome feature.

In the mean time, I thought the folder scanning function would do the trick... however you have to create the artists individually and scan each folder separately. So the "Folder auto-scanning" is a little misleading. Assuming the folder structure is set up correctly... Why cant we scan an entire directory and add the artist-album-song automatically?

The front-end uploading is a whole other issue, being able to upload entire albums is key. But I understand the problems in getting this to work on many servers. A nice script to look at would be Uber Uploader...

I use this with HWDvideoshare, and can upload video files up to 2GB no problem.

Any ways, I bought the product a few months back and I just dont see myself getting the site up and running until at least the "Folder auto-scanning" truly automatically scans all the folders without doing each artist individually.

Any ways, I would love to see what the chance is of any of these features being improved/added.
