Hi,
All the search engine friendly pages in the rest of my site are fine - with my URLs showing as my domain/article-name.html
But the three menu links I have for Music Collections show things like:
http://www.mydomain.com/2012-11-12-16-43-59/the-article-linked-to.html
How do I get rid of those numbers?
Thanks

0Hi,
It's not just one page, it's every page that relates to Joomla Music Solutions - the main page (which I'm using as a search page) the songwriter page (remember I only have one, just for myself?) the Songs page, the Albums page and all songs and albums linked that way.
Just checked my mysql database, and there doesn't seem to be a date like the one in the SEF url. So I'm puzzled as to where it's coming from.

0Managed to resolve this one myself via a search on the Joomla forum where I encountered this explanation:
"If you have dates in your url it is because you have a duplicate alias which obviously cant work so joomla replaces the alias with the date. You should check to ensure that you have no menu items with the same alias INCLUDING any in the trash."
So I checked my menus and sure enough there was the same number against the main menu item that contained the sub-menu items used for Music Collection Pro. I changed it's alias and the problem went away immediately.
Problem solved!
