vat number for italy problema of validation

Hello,
im tryng to buy invoice manager but it dont let me insert my VAT number! it is this: 02708880840

can you please tell me how to fix this issus?

is pretty urgent, thank you

    hello,

    this number is not a valid EU VAT number, according to the EU verification page... you can check it yourself: http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/vatresponse.html

    i dont understand why! This is my company, and my VAT number is this 02708880840 11 digits!

    Im blocked in buyng products here cause of this! Can you help please????

    Im sure over 100% that my VAT number is absolutely right!

    hello,

    one thing is the VAT for Italy (which I'm sure it's good), but for this VAT to become a valid EU VAT ID, it has to be registered (I mean, you have to apply for it). I mean, your Italy VAT number is not "automatically" a valid EU VAT number, it has to be approved after request. are you sure yours is a valid EU number?

    I mean, the page I sent you is the OFFICIAL EU page for verification...

    Maybe is not verified for europe, but than how can i have that EU VAT ID? i need component urgently.

    Can i buy ad person and later you give me receipt to company qith my italian VAT number?

      you can buy it with VAT and then when you got a validated VAT number, we can refund you, that's no problem. to have an EU VAT ID, you have to apply for it, you have to fill out some form or something. if you have an accountant, you should ask him about this, he will know better.
