Hi there ,
I do have an accounting program that use Mysql as well , My question is like this ,
I want to be able to add invoices and assign it to customer without using the backend for your extension, but I want the customers to be able to login and see their invoices, I want to use my backend to add and update invoices .
Is it possible , do you have any documents that can help in this situation ?
Thanks

0Sorry for this misunderstanding ,
The thing is like this , I am using a Filemaker with my sql tables , we have invoices , products and quotes and much more , its a complete system .
We are missing the portal part with our system , with is the customer can login and print his invoices.
I can change the mysql database and tables in our program to actually use your database tables with will give us to create invoices in our backend software and the user can see from your front end .
Like accessing the the database table and add the content , is it possible , I can not see any issue with unless you have a different view

0Hello
I understand better now. It sounds really complicated to me, to be honest. you're thinking in somehow "matching" the DB fields, which "could" work, but then all the login behind it, all the logic made with PHP and JS files would most likely not.. I really see this hard to accomplish.
the best approach to this is maybe that you can export your invoices and then we could build some custom import function in ours, and this way the users could access their invoices.
this integration could maybe even be kind of automatic if the DBs where in the same server (in a way that Invoice Manager can read your DB tables and import data into its DB tables), but the original idea you mention, which would be sort of our program running on your DB tables, I really see this hard to accomplish, even if the theoretical base idea would seem reasonable (I can see you're a tech guy and you know what you're saying, and I get your idea.. but I don't see it really doable)... -

1Exactly the opposite way , Way program runs / use your DB tables . Your program and code wont be touched by as .
I want my program to update the tables in your DB , for example
My invoice DB table called "My_INV" will be deleted and instead we will use your DB tables for it
think about it like this , I want to use phpmyadmin to access your DB to add invoices records with will be possible if you know the exact diagram for your database and what is related to this table . As I said before I think I can do it , Can you please help with sending me the SQl diagram to look into it before buying this , We are in a hurry and we want this to get done as soon as possible
Thanks for your help and support-
pepperstreetmore than a month agoFollowing... more or less I have the same thoughts among my pre-sale questions. I am thinking of CB (Community Builder) or MintJoomla Emerald / Cobalt. Those extensions are able to fire custom SQL queries on certain events and triggers. Maybe ideal for creating Invoices "in-app" ;-)

gideonmore than a month agoI know this option and thank you for your respond ,
Is it possible to send me the database diagram or structure and tables to see if we can integrate it with our system
I am asking for this for the third time , this could solve all my issues and questions
and if you don't have it available at least some screenshots would help
