Hello support team,
I am encountering an error in the software. I have inserted the company logo and it appears in the backend, but it does not show up on the customer mail. It just has a large box with a question mark in it showing that it cannot find the image. The image is fine and it goes out on other component mails (such as our newsletter system). Can you please take a look and see if the component can display the image?
Also, the invoice does not currently have a link to take the customer to the login page to pay for the services rendered, is there a way we can put this link into a mail?
Thank you!

0Hello,
make sure to insert the images as an "absolute path" (that is: use www.yoursite.com/image.png instead of just image.png)
to put that link you mention in the email, you can simply add this into the invoice template... do you know what I mean? -

0For the Image insertion, I used the joomla image manager to select my image and then inserted it into the template. Is there another way to do this?
Also, I understand that I should add that to my invoice template, but is there a preset code for that? Also, will that link take the user only to their invoice page and not anyone else's? -

0hello,
well, that way should be ok, the problem is that sometimes the image insertion is done in relative mode (not absolute) and the issue you're mentioning happens. what you can do is simply hit the "edit HTML" button to actually place the root URL of your site to that image to avoid this.. do you know what I mean? are you ok editing the HTML?
no, there's no preset code for that (not really needed.. you can just copy/paste the code..) the invoices page is the same for everyone (each user will see only their invoices..) -

0are you ok editing the HTML?
Yes, I am alright with editing the HTML. I think it is strange though to do this extra step. Maybe this could be a suggestion to improve your product for it's next release version?

Thank you for this confirmation. I will enter this code to their invoice page.
Thanks! -

0Hi Support,
I am still having issues with the logo in the invoice. Even when I have entered the HTML of the exact location, I still get a blank box. Can you please provide steps on how to add in an image with the new system?
Also, I am having an issue with the line items lining up. please see the screen shots attached. I have tried to do {desc} under the description but that will not work. Only when I have {items} will it properly show. But this poses a format issue with alignment. Can you please give me documentation on how to align such that the description, price, amount and total price options are properly aligned with the headers?
Thank you! -

0the alignment format probably is because you used the HTML edition (editor) option, and that screwed up the template..
you should use the plain edition mode if your editor is screwing the template...
can you send me a link to the invoice? (you can send it to support@ joomlathat.com, I'll take a look, and also to the image issue) -

0Hi Germinal,
With the upgrade to the new version I have 2 more questions
1) Has the image insertion issue been fixed? Am I now allowed to use the Joomla image tool to update an image?
2) With the new version I have noticed that the "PDF and email versions" do not have information in the "content" and "styles" boxes. Is this correct? I do see information in the "online version" though.
I just wanted to make sure that everything is OK.
Thanks!
