I installed Content Statistics today and it worked fine for awhile. I was making some dummy modules and articles to see how it reported edits, etc. I went to the component menu and to content statistics and now I get a SQL error with a return to control panel button. Attached is a screenshot of error and also console error in Chrome.

This is weird. I've haven't seen it before.
Please, from the administrator go to System > global configuration, in the left menu select content statistics and save the options without changing them.
If this doesn't solve the issue, if you send me ftp access to your site I will try to see what is happening.

0Another insight: if this occured after you enabled some "dummy modules", it means it's some of the modules that's causing it.
try to disable them until you identifty which module is causing it
then, open the module. there will probably be some wrong configuration on that module.. if you can send a screenshot of the module options we may be able to see what's wrong.
