you can click on any day in the minicalendar module, and it will take you to that day's page.
However, events are not displayed in the module, if that's what you were asking...

apart from the point of day links that Germinal answered, I can easily solve the issue with the module scrollbars if you send me ftp access to joan@ joomlathat.com.

Those scrolls are not necessary in your case because when the minicalendar doesn't fit the screen, the template responsivity, displays it below the content, so I will get rid of them if you want.
