Is Invoice Manager 1.4.6 compatible with Joomla 3.6.2? Issue

Greetings I am creating an invoice and attempting to add items. A product used to automatically populate an Item when the SKU was entered. This no longer happens. Am I too far out of date for this to work?

well, it should work yes. Although this version you're using is very old...
I don't know why it's not working in your case, maybe some joomla configuration is affecting it.

Again, this version 1.4.6 is quite old.

    The automatic population was with the NAME field, not SKU...

    Sorry I should have said the Name field. I have not been using Invoice manager for a few months now but as I recall it would provide a drop down product list as text was entered into the Name field. This is no longer happening so I was wondering if 1.4.6 works with the latest version of Joomla.
