Front End Usage for Team Members? Task

I'm using a combination of EasySocial with EasyDiscuss for a team of developers. The site is mostly inclusive and team members only interact with the frontend. With paper shape, can team members use the component on the frontend to log task completion, or must that be done in the back end?

Not at the moment.. there could be, in the future, but for now it's not projected.
