Song Download

Song download no longer works with the upgrade to Version 2.0.
When a user clicks on the download icon the song opens up in the browser and you're not able to download it anymore.

Is there a fix for this? It's important that my users have the ability to download individual tracks.

    hmm.. nothing should have changed. can you send a link?

    what's your setting for "allow users to download"? is is set to everybody/only registered/nobody?

    there should be no difference on this part between the two versions... :S

    Setting are for Allow Song Downloads - EveryBody.

    Is there a way to hardwire this in? Where would I do this?

    well, nowhere, because it already reads the params from the component...

    I am thinking... maybe what happens is that your MENU parameters are overriding the component-wide parameters, and the values are different

    go to your menu manager, and on the menu where MC lies, look at the params, and be sure that its also set to everybody.

    do you know what I mean?
