Song download

Hi. After I changed the songs location server, I get error 404 when trying to download a song from a few albums and able to download others. I am able to play all songs without problem.

I can't download from this one: http://www.tropicalisima.fm/index.php?option=com_muscol&view=album&id=53&Itemid=85

Please let me know any suggestion.

    I cant try it because I'm not a registered user, therefore I can't donwload any album... :)

    you cant download beacuse the songs do not exist

    check your /songs folder, you'll see how the songs aren't there

    No. I put back the previous location of the files. I need to use an external location because I have limited space. As I said before in the external location I can listen the songs but some of then I can't download.

    yes, on external server, download option wont be valid!! only listen
    to download, you need to have the songs on the same server...

    otherwise you'd have to change the download links to be actually "hotlinks" to the external server...

    I didn't know it isn't possible to download from external server. Can this be added to a future version?

    no... from external server it is only possible the hotlink option, not the download thorugh a script (wich is the way MC uses for downloads on the same server)

    the reason for this is that the download script uses the FILESYSTEM of your server, so of course it does not works if the song is not on local
