Scanning Folders errors

Hello Germi,

When i want to add an album with songs in them and click on Scan folder specify the folder name i can see the folder it descovered on the left but under that folder name these two errors i get but on the right side where the songs should come up i dont see them.

    yes, this is (was) a known issue. IT ONLY HAPPENS IN WINDOWS, not in linux or mac environments.

    just SOLVED it.

    download atached file, and save it on

    /administrator/components/com_muscol/controllers/albums.php

    (you must replace the existing one, of course). unzip the file first.

    this file should solve the problem...

    tell me if it does :)

    looks like it didnt solve anything now i get these two error messages

    Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in administrator/components/com_muscol/controllers/albums.php on line 1010

    Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in administrator/components/com_muscol/controllers/albums.php on line 1020

    by the way i am running this on a linux server.

    so strange... I tested it and it worked...

    if you want to give me admin access data and ftp access, I'll give it a look and try to solve it

    Works awesome Thanks Germi! you rock!

    just another quick suggestion if its possible when scanning the folder and selecting to create an album after you add the album, it should also include the duration of the song it self so you don't have to manually add it by playing the song and going back and inputting it and saving would be a great little feature with big time savings Thanks

    Welcome Germi,

    I have a similar problem. When searching in the Discogs album and the message appears:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: simplexml_load_file() in /home/jank69/public_html/administrator/components/com_muscol/controllers/albums.php on line 75
