When a user upload a song via the form, from the front end, there are several seconds during which you may not know if uploading is really going or what will last.
Having to wait, not knowing what is going on can be frustrating for the user and may cause him to leave the page before the upload to finish.
It would be possible to have a progress bar that shows the progress of the upload (see image)?
I found this link: http://valums.com/ajax-upload/, but maybe you can have an easier solution.
Thanks for an answer.

P.S. I see now in the forum that this topic has already been treated two weeks ago ...

0Its my opinion not use anything JomSocial puts out. Also, flash uploads have a 100mb limit. Uber uploader, a cgi/perl script uses ajax to display the upload progress. UU is used by thousands and thousands of websites. Although not needed.. the upload limit using this script is 2GB.
I'm sure you have already looked at UU Germi, but we have to start somewhere. Its been a year since I purchased MC. ID3 tags and upload progress bar were the two things that really needed to be added to the software. A year later and I feel we deserve progress report on these two features. I really don't want to hand out another $100 for a subscription just so I can help find & fix the bugs in the current builds.
