Before I start, I just want to say thanks for the extension.

I am writing this post to get a feel of what the enhancements are going to be when the next release of MC. For instance, I know id3 tag reading is going to be included but there are a few other crucial features needed before I feel this is a complete product. So below is a list of what I think should be a goal with the next release.

1) ID3 tag reading... check!

2) Updated scan feature. With the use of ID3 tags, MC should be able to scan an entire directory to add music to the database.

3) Custom folder structure. MC should be able to upload and order songs on the server in some kind of folder hierarchy. IE, structure may look like songs/artist/album/songname.mp3.

4) Community integration. The album and artist pages should at least have a link to the user who added the music. We pay extra for the community version... this is a no brainer. Maybe an option to show a list of the past users who viewed the album or artist.

5) There needs to be a way to distinguish what song is currently being played on each of the pages that have more than one song... ie artist, album, playlists.

These next 2 deal with the upload process and may be a little much to ask at this point but should definitely be on the to do list...

6) Possibility to upload a zip file containing an album's music files. And/Or the possibility to grab all files in a folder to upload without choosing each song individually.

7) Use of a more advanced upload script. One that can track the upload process. For instance Uber Uploader... http://uber-uploader.sourceforge.net/

Any ways, I'm just trying to get an idea of what we can expect with the next version.
