Is there any king of moderation on the stuff users add? Something like approval status?

    no, there isn't, sorry. this should need to be built as custom coding work..

    I guess most of the work should be done in the files in the /models folder, right?

    well.. it's not taht simple! ;) it also requires work on /views and /controllers...
