did you install the new version of the player as well?
(I can't see where the music is in your site)

Have re installed the plug in and the player will show. Now I need to sort out the music collection. The link to the folder is not working and the songs do not play so I need to explore the reason. Thanks for your input and will get back if any more probs still exist.

Problem has changed! JW player now shows in webpage. Songs appear on the page with player controls. Press play and player crashes. Songs are able to play via host control panel and legacy file manager so I know they exist in the file directory. Musicol will find the file in the albums search section of add album and create the album structure but seems unable to play file. Must be config'd in error somehow!

Nope, its back to square one. Uninstalled the whole thing, reloaded and still cannot get the system to work. When plug in enabled no detail on page.

Using Musicol 2.20_1.6 and plug in 2.2.2_1.6.

please post a link to a particular ALBUM page, I want to look at the code to see what's going on!

Still not playing songs. Album list shows, player crashed stating "Task Cue failed at Step 5"

Have only linked one song which is song 2 "Cowboys and Kisses" for testing purposes. I am getting frustrated with this as the system worked perfectly prior to upgrading to Joomla 1.7. If you follow the link on prior posts you can see the problem

as you can see, it SEEMS like the problem is caused by the CACHE in Joomla. can you clean all cache and try to load this page I post again? if you see the error, tell me. if you see an XML file, then it means it's solved (and you can play the songs)

Have cleared all the Cache from the site. Turned off the cache handlers for both the site and the gantry template. The JW player will still not show and will not play any songs. I have however accessed the site via an Ipad using the IOS operating system and the site will load a quicktime player in the JW player position and will play the songs and albums via the pad. When I try to access the site via the PC or intel Macbook the site will not show the JW player or if it did it would be a black line and a error message of stopped at step 5. ????
