Album detail settings in component have no effect

I'm on the album list page with detail view.
The detail is showing everything.
If I go into that menu item and edit the component's parameters to explicitly not show particular details, they still show - all of them show.

    no, that parameters apply to the ALBUM page, not the ARTIST page (a.k.a album list).

    if you want the details to be out on the album list page, you'll have to remove them manually from the template (/components/com_muscol/views/artist/tmpl/detailed_album.php)
