featured and random album question 2

I have both 'image for album name', and 'front sleeve' graphics for an album, but no graphics appear in the featured and random album module, only text.

They do appear in the main 'view-listings?view=album' views.

Any advice?

Thanks,

Neil

    Yes I am.

    I'm not sure you correctly understood the query.

    It is the 'no graphics' in the featured album module I am concerned with :)

    Hi Germi,

    i have a question about the random module, too.

    i changed the css file for my page but i dont find a solution to decrease the gap between the pictures. You can have a look at my page - www.sound-ecke.de

    you see in the top position the random module - the gaps between the pictures are very big.

    The other problem is, you see on the left side of the random module there is a big gap between the your module and my temple - is it possibel to decrease this gap, too?

    Thanks for your help.
    Greetings

    you just have to adjust some CSS paramters.

    in that case, basicaly is a "width" element what you have to change

    on the skin file, wich is modules/mod_muscol_featured_albums/tmpl/jcarousel/skins/tango/skin.css

    around line 28 you have

    .jcarousel-skin-tango .jcarousel-item {
    height:75px;
    width:75px;
    }

    I think all you need is to make that 75px smaller (try with 50px)

    it is a VERY GOOD IDEA to use FIREBUG for FIREFOX in order to adjust your css parameters. you will quickly see what files do you have to modify

    I have noticed that the user in this thread http://www.joomlamusicsolutions.com/en/forum/version-1.5/random-and-featured-albums-module-not-working.html

    had what sounds the same problem.

    I have upgraded to 1.5 but I have a feeling something has not upgraded properly.

    to anyone reading this thread:

    if you're experiencing problems with the album images (they dont show up on a module or somewhere on MC component) and you upgraded from version 1.0.2 to 1.5.0, here's a file that will fix that small bug:
