we're an artist that is now using this for our own music library
maybe back end definable links for purchase - just like the download button - but goes either to virtuemart (what we use) or even itunes/amazon
links to share as well (though could be part of jomcomment) to social netowrks/email to a friend
as well as a popup player that plays as people surf site - and can click to add music to the playlist
check out this site (http://reverbnation.com) simple but cool for listeners that browse - and be able to save playlist to jomsocial profile
add that stuff and there's nothing stopping this component!
great support btw!! you are on top of things!!!

0I will think about it:
links for purchase -> that could be just an extra field in the backend, a link pointing to virtuemart or wherever. but the admin would have to add manually every link, to the corresponding virtuemart item or something.
links to share->yes, thats somethinkg I thougth about. not very dificult, maybe as a plugin in the next minor update version
I also thougth about popup players. with the player provided now (Dewplayer), only direct listening is possible, but you can't "add songs to playlist". it would be great to have a plugin allowing that, but the "popup" system, so you can always be listening the music, is complicated, and people don't like to have popups opening when they're surfing the web.
I have to think about it, about the best way of including the "playlist" feature on the component. that will take some time, but I'll work to find the best solution.
thanks for your suggestions man! -

0still loving the component and the updates - using the show in content plugin in my virtuemart lsiting for a download -
if you manage to get the two to link directly - as well as each track on an album as individual singles - so each can pull info from album - but available for sale
no problem on entering manually
does that make sense? we sell more singles than full albums - would like to have them treated much like an album on their own...
Awesome stuff! -
