What kind of ajax features would you like?

Since its to be like to musicbox or better, then i suggest implementing the Ajax features of musicbox or moreless creating something like imeem if possible. My qualm is that Joomla needs a real music component and im interested as to the future development of such existing comps.

he only AJAX features I see in mbox site are:
- the "artists" image/text rotator in the home
- the rating system

is there something else? the artists thing is easy to do (and in fact its not AJAX but plain Javascript..), and the rating system is also easily implementable..

ok my bad with the javascript i took for ajax.
im no programmer.

Now been comparing and i think that the artists page should be a bit like musicbox's layout with the option to expand bio info (seems like javascript to me),
and to also support extra features as
-photo albums
-i guess the songs lyrics wont hurt
-video support, be it local or external sources even seyret



What about music charts with voting/rating/commenting support along with a link that provides a pop-up player to preview a selected song from a chart.

there's alot more to suggest but i think its better to do so in separate topics

theese are good ideas. just to make it clear, what do you exactly mean with:
-photo albums? you mean to be able to upload various photos for an artist? that's a good idea
-song lyrics -> what you mean? in MC there are song lyrics right now..

what kind of music charts? in mbox I see "USA chart" or "Uk chart".. but I dont find it very useul the way they have implemented that..

anyway, I'll think about that.

about the popup player, I think there are some topics on this forum about is. this is a feature that has to be thinked deeply, because is not as simple as it may look.. you know, be able to add songs to an external popup player and that kind of things is something that will take time
