jomsocial released the i like button by facebook http://www.jomsocial.com/forum/index.php?rb_v=viewtopic&f=22&t=17692 it shows up in all joomla content except for muscol pages, actually i only need it in muscol pages, any idea how to make it appear?

I updated my version to 2.1 great job, but the facebook like button and twitter button refuse to show up on my site, despite I selected them in the parameter.

check your MENU ITEM parameters, too, not only the component-wide parameters.

maybe those are overriding the global...

Hi germi, I am using this tutorial http://www.joomlamusicsolutions.com/en/forum/general/prevent-modules-to-appear-in-the-inner-pages-2.html#7480 to make muscol inner pages has modules different than it’s home page: I have two muscol menu item the first one is the fake one that I don’t use it’s itemid (21) in the global parameter it’s only purpose is to display more modules on the right position that I don’t need them in the inner pages, and the real one that I use it’s item id (89) in global parameter and all modules but of course it’s a hidden menu item. So is this a problem in facebook button and twitter?

Also I have on my site facebook connect plug-in and twitter module that displays my tweeter updates, could it be a problem?

@farsihiphop you should check also the parameters of the PARTICULAR MENU ITEM, not only the global ones..

I made sure that all muscol modules has the correct itemid which is 89 and still the like button and twitter don’t show, any idea what is the problem

i notice in muscol global parameter when i select the Bookmark system to be Music Collection Default the sweet and facebook like button appeared, but when i used to select Add this bookmark they never show up. is there any way tho have the like facebook and sweet button with add this bookmark?

i guess that germi means their is no use of having tweet and like buttons with add this bookmark system. i am not so familial with facebook and tweeter thats why i am not sure if there is a different between like button and using share button in add this bookmark system.

but now i notice in MusicCollection site you can display add this sharing with like and tweet buttons at the same time, is there any update i am not aware of?

its just the normal 2.1 distribution...!

but i also use 2.1 distribution and when i choose add this sharing option the Facebook like buttons and tweeter buttons disappear, the only way to make it work is to choose the default muscol sharing option.

this problem has been going on for 2 months, has it been solved? because im having the same problem and i need this sorted asap.

I am having the same problem, and would like a solution as well. ADDITIONALLY, my twitter counter doesn't record the number of tweets; it keeps resetting itself back to zero.
