Assign 2 or more Genres to an album

Hello,
It would be very useful that more than one genre can be assigned to an album.
Is there any chance / trick / code to do it fast?
I think that this could be a great feature also for the future.

    there's no "fast" way (involves many code changes in many files) , but I'll definitely consider to add it on the next version :)

    I agree with this one a 100%
    Kids these days do not even know the genre they are even into, and make up new ones every day for their bands. I have a list of over 100 genres for music. Adding multiple ones on a album and song would really help us, the artists selection when they mix styles, and would also help push SEO too. As it is, i would have to add so many more to my list... 'Acoustic - Alternative Rock', Acoustic - Classic Rock', Acoustic - Rock', 'Acoustic - Folk', 'Acoustic - Country', and so on, would quadruple my genre list for music.

    I know it's a crap ton of coding, but it would be a really great feature to add to this already amazing component.

      well, that's why we added TAGS into our last version, which can be multiple (per album, artist, song), and can be entered right on the album form page...

      Germinal, I did not notice this was an older post. I have not even started adding genres to my admin until now. And now that I am adding them, I notice we can add multiple "Parent" genres! Which is GREAT! Disregard my comment here. With that and tags in place, I think they way this is laid out, there will be no problems at all.

    Using tags is pretty good! but... Parent tags like we have Parent genres would be good. ! lol
    then again maybe im not thinking right ?

      unfortunately tags cannot be nested.. but the good thing is you can add multiple..!!
