Hi, when I go to upload a song the system redirects back to the homepage without uploading the song. (hiddenbeats.co.uk). Note this is front end only. I was able to upload successfully using the back end.
I had problems with this previously where Germinal worked his magic and got it working again, unfortunately since then I've been forced to remove the theme & am now building the website using JA Builder. Since then its no longer working. I haven't edited any of the muscol settings so they should be as Germinal left them. I've also updated the community plugin, not sure if that may be contributing to problems.
I've checked the error log and found a couple of notices. I know notices dont effect functionality but it may be helpful.
Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$image in /home/xvvofdo8bzqn/public_html/components/com_muscol/views/song/view.html.php on line 217
Notice: Undefined variable: plugin_ok in /home/xvvofdo8bzqn/public_html/components/com_muscol/views/song/view.html.php on line 221
I double checked the system plugin was ordered in the correct place. Its actually in position 7, not last. I cant seem to move it any further past the 'user' and 'twofactorauth' plugin types.
Quick feature request - a loading page or notification when uploading a song would be amazing!
Cheers for the help

0Hi germinal, thanks for the reply.
That’s correct. I’ve tried uploading one track at 2.62mb and another at 23.3mb (separately) and neither work. I’ve tried it on both edge & Firefox browsers & both the song and album uploaders. Php settings haven’t changed since it was working last so doubt it’s related to that. To confirm, this is front end only. Uploading via the backend works fine. Any ideas?

0Hi Germinal,
Thanks for your advice, I've been able to figure out the issue.
There were 2 things stopping it from working... firstly my redirect plugin was effecting it, which is weird as it worked fine before with it.
The second reason is that my permissions on the homepage is set to guest, and as the buttons point to index.php/index.php it was creating a 403 error.
I've added index.php/index.php to my redirect plugins ignored URLS and the muscol component seems to be working fine with it now as long as the homepage is set to public.
I wonder, is there a way I could have my homepage viewed by guests only still and have music collection working? It was working fine with this same set up a couple of weeks ago could the community update have anything to do with it?
If that's not achievable I don't mind too much, at least it works now! The more pressing issue for the moment is that the easy social stream items aren't linking to the corresponding music collection page still. We discussed before that using bbcode may work as ES didn't support href tag however I noticed when I uploaded a song via the backend, the stream item does actually create a link to the back end admin album list.
Thanks for all your help! -
