Can you run Music Collection without the player?

Hey,

Is it possible to enter a music collection without the actual mp3 files and this way (or an other) deactivate the player function? I just want to publisch our music collection and let our users comment and vote for tracks and albums.

    yes, no problem (you probably have alrady figured this out)
    the player is a plugin, so all you have to do is not install (or just disable) the player
