CSS updates not reflected on site

I have made a few changes in the 'random_album.css' under the folder 'mod_muscol_featured_albums' in modules section and uploaded it on the server but the changes are not getting reflected on the site.
I tried clearing cache and even the CSS is changed on the server but its not showing up when you visit the site.
Please help me out.

    maybe some other CSS stuyles are overriding yours.
    have you tried to use FIREBUG for FIREFOX to see what CSS styles are applied?

    Hey Germi,

    Unfortunately it is not about the styles being over ridden.

    Check this scenario:

    I removed the column for albums in the table from default.php (views/artists/tmpl). I still see it on the home page

    The artists/albums/Songs table at the bottom.

    Even in CSS files firebug shows me the old css files while through ftp when i open the files I see the new ones!

    I have caching disabled.

    Clueless. I am a Joomla newbie so maybe I am doing something stupid.
