Hello team,
I am having difficulty in getting the Pagination on front end. Page Link: http://sbkhan.zaha.in/audio-beta.html
Th Albums that I added at the start will simply go away from the page with no option to navigate to the next page.
I would also like to list albums in first in first up format; is this doable? (latest at the last and oldest at the first)
Can you please help.
Regards,
Syed H

0Germinal,
Thank you for your inputs. I have added around 22 albums as of now out of which only 9 show up on the front page and rest are going behind unnoticed.
Yes, I am using module and have called it using the itro-text area as mentioned in the documentation. Is there any other way to get these. I will have several albums that goes into different categories collectively. I need to show them by clubbing them into separate categories.
I would need your wise help to achive this.
Kindly support.

0well if you're using a MODULE, the modules don't have pagination.
In the module, you tell it how many albums to show, and that's what it will show. in this case, your module is set to 9, so it will only show 9.
if you want a page that shows albums and keeps loading more, you need to do with with a SEARCH view, filtered by albums. Not with a module...
do you know what I mean? -

0Germinal,
Thank you for adding your valuable inputs. I am really not sure, however I have just created a Menu with "Search Page" as option under Menu Item Type.
Is this what you're guiding me to?
Moreover I would like to have an ability to group albums into different categories so that when a person selects that category from the menu, it should show only those set of albums.
Please advise.

0hello
yes, this is the search page indeed..
we don't have "categories" for albums, we have genres/formats/types/tags.. you can use those.
if you want to create a menu "pointing" to a set of albums, you can simply create a menu to the search page but with some filter on,
for example, to show only albums for "format" equals to 3, you would do:
index.php?option=com_muscol&view=search&format_id=3&search=albums -

0Germinal,
Thank you for adding your inputs. I have achieved this using the Tag filters. You can see it on the site here under Aduios Menu.
I would ask you to help me manage the related albums that show up under each Album while viewing the Album. Is there a way we can manage the number of Albums that show up there?
Please advise.
Best Regards,
Syed H -
