0NO this is not live broadcast . This is normal mp3 file uploaded to music collection component. Same issue is surfacing on 100s of audio files i have on site and not restricted to 1 file.
We recently upgrade our MYSQL db version to 5.5. Really appreciate any urgent response since my whole site is broken with 10ss of albums using music collection -

0Yes we have MC for very long time running on Joomla 1.5
3 weeks back we upgraded from Joomla 1.5 to Joomla 3.x
1 week back we upgraded our PHP version
few days back we upgraded our MYSQL version
Our users have recently started to complain about same
Around live streaming. This is not a title /description we have. Is this a configuration that we are not aware and perhaps responsible for the issue.
Our use case is simple to allow for users to play uploaded MPS3 files from various albums -

0Hi,
There's no limitation on MC regarding this, and you are the first user ever reporting this. I don't know where the "live streaming" comes from, and all I can guess is that jwplayer is saying this when the file is very long or it doesn't have proper information on the file.
I cannot do anything on this, there's nothing we are "resticting" on MC about this.
that is why I asked you to try a SHORTER song, just for test purposes, to be able to evaluate if it's the song length that is a problem, or is somehing else.
so, please, try to make a test on your server with a shorter song (say 10 min max) and let's see what happens.
also, please send me one of these 60min songs at support@ joomlathat.com and I will locally try it to see if I have the same issues. -

0Thanks for update.
Here is what I found out further
- This issue started after Joomla 1.5 to Joomla 3.x upgrade but being escalated now
- Is there a log file or log level whcih can help us to get better ins
- The issue is also manifetsing when mp3 files are 7 - 8 minutes long so not necessary when file is 60 minutes long.
- Can this be jwplayer plugin issue whcih I can look further and any pointers where to look for same. Is there a version of jwplayer player plugin version we should be trying with MC -

0it could be jwplayer, I don't know. I would start by looking into jwplayer's website for similar cases.
We could even try to upgrade to the latest version (version 7) to see if it helps.
but another reason could be that the issue was coming from the server's end... and in this case I really don't know what we could do about it. -

Can you please help me with any pointers around same. Do I downlod same from http://www.joomlarulez.com/ and install independently or is there anything additional I need to do for it to work properly with MC -

0I want to follow up on this topic since issue is not yet resolved. This issue does isolate to following
- It happens ONLY when I am using CloudFlare CDN with JWplayer as cloudflare CDN not able to handle progressive streaming well.
So one question for you
- Is there way for me to customize the domain of the mp3 file being played by music collection.
Here is what I am thinking of doing
- Service by websites and webpages using CloudFlare CDN
- Customize to point mp3 files to be served using separate domain which is not frontended by CloudFlare CDN
If I would like to accomplish this then what would you suggest I do from music collection perpsective?
