In the next couple of weeks we will begin to promote the recordings of our association's 75+ performing members by rolling out MC-Pro. Most of our performing members have one or more albums which they make available when appearing in person. Associate (non-performing) members want an easy to use method of surveying all available recordings and are likely to want to purchase the products of performing members "when ever"....not just when they happen to catch them at a concert.

My idea is to use the album "buy link" element to trigger either a Joomla component/extension or simply invent something that would pull relevant info from the database into a form and let the user fill in his/her info, send it off to the member who can then negotiate the "deal".

Under NO circumstances does the association want to run the ordering/purchasing/shipping, etc.....just service to our members and/or perhaps sponsors who offer albums of interest by non-members.
