I just downloaded the jw player module from the new site and installed it on my test site. After I enable it most of my pages will not load. The templates load and all or some of the content vanishes. Those few that do load the player is broken on. Is the jw player module on the download page the correct one? It is listed as being over a year old.

oh! sorry, I see the problem.

it's the version of our System plugin. I just realized the latest version is missing, I have just re-uploaded it. it's this file:

http://www.joomlathat.com/account/downloads/music-collection/community-standard/all/157

you need to install it.

    Hello,

the module version is correct... the plugin version is newer and will work with the latest version of MC.
which version are you installing it on? and in which Joomla version?
if you enable some error reporting, does it say anything?

I am using the latest 3.0 version of the module with the latest 3.0 version of MC from the website, using joomla 3.1. I will turn on debugging when i log back onto my dev box and report what it shows.

With simple error reporting, this is the message I get on pages that will not load content:

Warning: require_once(C:\xampp\htdocs\modules\mod_muscol_jwplayerDShelper.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\xampp\htdocs\modules\mod_muscol_jwplayer\mod_muscol_jwplayer.php on line 12

I looked at my system and there is no file called:
    C:\xampp\htdocs\modules\mod_muscol_jwplayerDShelper.php
    There is one called:
    C:\xampp\htdocs\modules\mod_muscol_jwplayer\helper.php

If I turn on Maximum error reporting, this is what I get:

Strict Standards: Only variables should be assigned by reference in C:\xampp\htdocs\plugins\system\muscol\muscol.php on line 21
