Hi Germi,
I noticed that a picture/facebook/twitter is showing under the jwplayer. Can you please have a look. The link is: http://www.justjojoentertainment.com/music/e/11-eyo/10-street-swag. All the jwplayer is showing something behind. Once you click on the player, and mistakenly click the picture, you can't stop/pause the song. You will have to refresh the page.
Pls have a look.
Ps. Any news on the SEF update and new artsit added modules? Am still waiting for this updates. Thanks

0Germi, it looks like you might of downloaded and packaged the viral version of the jw player. If you go to http://www.longtailvideo.com/players/jw-flv-player/ you can download the jw player. You need to make sure to UNCHECK the "include Viral, a video sharing plugin" before you download it.
My site is currently down at the moment, so I can't test it. What happens if you were to go to that link and download the non-viral version and replace the jw player files in mc?
I would suggest always including the unchecked non viral version in all MC releases as it limits the amount of communication the player has with longtail, which would in return limit the amount of errors or things that can go wrong when longtail changes their code. -

0it's not that...
I tried the latest version. I tried the NON viral option. the plugin still there...
the strange thing is that on the script that creates the player, it is specifically said that this plugin should be OFF.
(look at plugins/muscolplayers/jwplayer.php line 172)
it was working until now... and now it doesn't. people at longtail changed something without saying it to us!!!

0According to their website, the viral version is the only one that will show the share icon. And yes, that is a new feature. So anyone that is using the viral version will all of a sudden see that annoying shared link.
This is their answer to all the posts about this on their forums:
1) Make sure you have downloaded the player from - http://www.longtailvideo.com/players/jw-flv-player/, and uncheck "Include Viral, a video sharing plugin"
2) Upload the player.swf file in the .zip file to your site, replacing the player.swf file that is there currently.
3) Clear your cache. It will be gone now.

0guys, I'm having the same problem, as you can see in this very site.
me too, I download the latest version, with NON VIRAL option, as you guys, and it still shows. I think this is a bug on LongTail's page that only allows downloading the viral version.
nothing I can do for now, sorry... I've tried a lot of things.
hope they'll solve this asap.... :S -

0I am somewhat confused. I downloaded the latest version of the player, the non viral version, and copied the whole contents of that zip into the \\plugins\\muscolplayers\\jwplayer\\jwplayer\\ folder after deleting all the contents of that folder. I then cleared the cache / temporary internet files and the image was still there.
Yet, if I run the /plugins/muscolplayers/jwplayer/jwplayer/readme.html demo file that comes with the download from my webserver, the image is NOT there.
This would seam to indicate that there is something in your code that is either enabling or turning on this image. Either that, or you have some code elsewhere in muscol that is controlling this functionality as the default jw player code is not showing it there. When the code is ran just from the readme.html file it is not there.
Another thing of interest is the lack of posts on this issue on the longtailvideo.com forums. This is by far the most used flash player on the internet so the amount of topics on this issue would be great if this problem was affecting everyone, not just muscol.
Could you please look into the muscol code and verify there is nothing either turning on this feature, or not suppressing it?
Thanks. -

0max power,
Sorry, I am not using that module, but looking at the source code of his demo site here and going off what he posted previously, I would suggest looking for a line of code in the jw player module. I am guessing you would want to find and remove:
sharing: { link: false }
or possibly better the whole bit:
plugins: {
sharing: { link: false }
},

0Germi,
I DO see this error on your demo site in multiple browsers! Even after clearing the cache. Go to your demo site. Then go to an album. Add some tracks to the playlist. Then click on the "Show player in popup". A new window popups and in that new popup window the player has the share icon in the top right hand corner.
It looks like you fixed the issue in the jw player PLUGIN, but not all the way in the jw player MODULE. -
