Template overrides path

I edit album form and add in in directory

mytemplate/html/com_muscol/views/album/default.php

It don't replace default template...
What is the path for templates overrides?

    I've created file for featered artists - all works fine
    gk_league_news/html/mod_muscol_featured_artists/profile.php

    but for component it don't work...

    so strange... it should work for everything. we don't block anything from our component.
    what if you duplicate the files (save the old ones just in case) and modify right in the place?

    true. that's why I encourage you to make copies of your modified files..

    but the strangest thing is still that youre template isn't overriding the files. maybe you can ask the template creators about this?

    I wiil ask them, but I think they will say, that problem with your component...
    By the way, I change template on joomla default - beez5 - and overrides don't work too...

    Right path to album form template override is

    /templates/mytemplate/html/com_muscol/album/form.php

    not

    /templates/mytemplate/html/com_muscol/views/album/form.php
