Fatal error: Class 'JParameter'

Hello, just bought "Music Collection" and installed on a fresh installation of Joomla 1.6 (latest one (I had to better stay with the 1.5?))and started to add my music.

After having saved the "Parameters", before continuing as suggested I got this error:

Fatal error: Class 'JParameter' not found in /homepages/17/d144915728/htdocs/mymusic/components/com_muscol/views/artists/view.html.php on line 69

Tried to fixed according the Joomla Forum but what I get is a double top alphabetic menu.

(but not on the home page)

If I don't save the "Parameters" (as suggested) I got this layout

Any help will be appreciated.

ok, I thing I solved the issue

please DOWNLOAD THE PACKAGE AGAIN

and reinstall. you'll have to uninstall first

Ok done and the layout its Ok again but now I got two lines on menu again
(click on any letter)

EDIT: it looks like that saving the PARAMETERS makes that line to be double.

hello,

I solved some other problem (PLEASE DOWNLOAD AGAIN)
I know this is a pain in the ass sorry. the first package always has this kind of trouble.. hopefully not for much longer!

about the double letter bar: I'm a little surpried.... are you using the LETTER BAR module?? if you are, just turn it off please...

Yes, I am using the Letter Bar module but if I turn it off I don't have anymore bar, not even one.

Are there two modules that manage the Letter Bar?

Because if I turn off the Music Collection Letter Bar I don't have no bar anymore, not even one.

letterbar module is just an add-on, YOU DONT NEED IT.

if you go to PARAMETERS (music collecion component), there's a parameter to turn ON/OFF the letter bar. maybe the problem is that your letter bar parameter is set to NO ?

Ok it is everything fine now.

I got "NO" in the parameters and the "music collection letter bar" published.

On the other way I was getting an error.
