Hi there
I am not sure if this is a right place to ask, so in that case I apologize in advance.
I put my site (www.metalbible.com) public
It is still in beta but the basic things are working.
About the music collection component everything works perfectly. But when I upload images with the MC backend (covers, tag icons etc etc) the owner of the files is www-data. Nothing wrong with that except that I can not copy/replace/download these files. In other words I can not download these files to have them also in my development server at home or for backup reasons
I tried it both with the ftp layer enabled and disabled (of course when it is enabled I set my username/password) but the result is the same. The owner is always the www-data
As you can see in the image I attach all the files that I uploaded with the ftp client have the right owner but all the others have www-data
Is there any setting I can change to fix that?
Thanks in advance

0thats a server configuration thing, but actually I dont know how you can solve it. I would have say to you to try to change the FTP config, but you did and it seems not to work.
I you have SSH acces to the server, I know that tehre's a way to tell it that the uploaded files belong to a certain user/group. un your case it should be metabible.com instead of www-data, for what I see on the picture.
basictly the problem is that www-data user has no reading permissions...
you what you should try to do is maybe change the permissions of the user www-data
but you'll have to look how to do it out in google... I can't tell you more... sorry
