Could you tell me what causes the error on the left and bottom of the picture below and attached?
They show up with one template but do not with another template.
I'm running Joomla 2.5 and I've made no changes except trying different templates.

they show because in this particular template, the error reporting level is higher.

the notices are nothing to worry about (but you should disable the error reporting in this template...)
the warning appearing says that you have a picture that is corrupted. you may want to upload it again...

How do I fix the problem? I changed the error reporting under global configuration to None. And it still occurs.

the thing is that this particular template is setting its own level reporting, ignoring the global.

so.. can you change it on template parameters?

I contacted the company that created the template and explained the problem. This is their reply. Are their comments about the capabilities of the template correct?
    ---------------------

Error reporting is done by joomla or with the php.ini file. Has nothing to do with the template so that doesn't make sense. Check in the root of your site and look for the php.ini file. Edit it to see if error reporting is set to maximum. If so, change it to none. Basically what I am trying to say is that the errors showing up have nothing to do with the template nor does the template have any type of settings that controls errors. Also, rather than hide them, it might be advisable to contact the developer of the extension producing the errors to have them fixed.

well I agree with them that the php.ini file should solve it.

anyway, if you send me FTP access I'll try to fix it myself.
