site reinstall blank

I have had to delete my beta site and reinstall joomla.

I exported the database before I deleted the site, and have imported it into the new site but there are no records anywhere in the music collection.

I have a copy of the original site if I need to copy any joomla files over.

What have I done and how do I get all my 400+ records back?

    man, I dont know, I dont know what you did with your database tables... if you deleted it, there's nothing you can do!

    if you have a copy of the old database, just restore all Muscol tables (copy the content to the new site database)

    I had a close look inside the mySQL database and the content wasnt restored although the fields were.

    Looks like I'm... :(

    I used the myPHPAdmin (or whatever it is) to 'Export' the database to a local drive before I deleted the site. Then I used its import option to restore it.
