Hello,
I want to build a web community where people can upload and download document as PDF. Is it possible to replace music by pdf document?
If so, I need the user can decide to which group his document can be seen, is it possible?

0technically it's possible, yes (well, we would need to "allow" PDf filetypes for upload, but besides of that, yes, it's possible)
but no, there's no "which group can see" option. this would need to be built in..
however remember that this is intended for music.. I mean you will still have the "artist/album/song" structure, even if you're using PDF files
