I am looking to add a blog system to my website. The 2 options I have is either using a blog component or using a comment component. I am using joomla 1.7 and both categories seem to be lacking on the non commercial side, so I will probably have to end up buying a commercial component to do this.
I am kind of leaning towards the ease of using a commenting system and maybe a tagging system and then just setting up categories and using the joomla articles to work as a blog. If I go this route, I think it would be nice to integrate the same commenting system into MC.
Is there a commenting component that MC supports that can be used in place of the default MC comments and is joomla 1.6+ compatible?

0JA comments not supported right now.
we will try to add JComments in next release. I actually have never used JA Comments (by the way, all joomla comments systems have such similar names...!!! it's a nightmare.... JomComments, JCOmments, JA COmments... all three are different extensions!)
will take a look at JA Comments but I don't garantee it will be included..!
