Problem with Lyrics

0
Hello!

Once again, I am really enjoying MC 2.0. It rocks!!!

I have one problem though:
My lyrics are not showing up on internet explorer. They work just fine on Firefox.

1. I am using "Nyala" , "Ethiopia Jiret" , and "Power Geez Unicode1" fonts. They all are unicode amharic(Ethiopian) fonts. I was wondering if the problem is the font. Here is a sample of "Nyala" from what I typed on MS Word...

You can copy and paste it on a sample song and see how IE responds. Note: I need to keep the space between the verse and the chorus.

The following is a message I got on IE... and no space between the verse and the chorus.

please help!

I don't know if this is gonna help anybody, but I finally managed to post lyrics without getting that messy code. All I needed to do was use Notepad instead of Word to copy and paste lyrics. Whenever you copy and paste text from Word, it will also copy a bunch of codes that I you won't be able to see unless you toggle editor.

However, there is a down side. Notepad won't allow text formating like Underline and Bold. If anybody knows a program that works just like Notepad with text formating (of course not Word), please let me know. It'd be great if there was a way of copying text and formating from Word without the messy codes.

    Thanks guys. MC Rules!!!

    hello

the truth is that word sucks at copy-pasting... I suggest you to never use it, it can cause a loooot of troubles with the ENCODING things... like this one you pointed out.

about the program: do you know NOTEPAD++ ? http://notepad-plus-plus.org/

its the best of its kind. I suggest you to use it. its easy to change between different encodings and such. give it a try

    good work, anyway! :)
