I think the best option out of the box is using the "songs" view, wich displays the review of an artist (you can include fotos of the artist in this review field) and also a list of songs.

however, in MC 1.0, Song must ALWAYS be part of an album. but you can, for instance, create an album for each song (this would be like a "single")

but if thats not enough for you.. you'd need a code change :S

Having an album for each song (like a Single) would be ok.I will investigate this and update you.
I will try the suggested view... btw. MC is almost perfect out of the box for what we want , so I'm sure we will be able to adjust it to our needs.
It's a great component and I think our site is going to look brilliant when we have ironed out a few things.

BTW, I'm going to add a new area in this site within the next weeks, that will be "Case Studies". My idea is to add a picture and some explanation text of some sites that use MC, explain how they use it and this kind of things, so potential users can see what people is able to do with MC.

if your site looks good, and you're interested, I can list it into this future "case studies"

anyway, I'll let you (and everybody) know when this is ready.
