I want to put together a site that is basically a searchable data base for original music. www.themusicsearcher.com The site would be specifically for advertisers, film writers, or anyone looking for original music. The searcher would put in a description of what they were looking for and come up with a list of possibilities. The home page for the site would look something like google, very simple for the end user.
The searching part seems like it will be relatively easy but what i can't figure out is how will I add tunes to the data base that are searchable. I will also need a file preview option. (an mp3 player). There are about 2000 mp3s that I need to upload to the server.
Will the Music collection component work for this application?
