MP3 bulk upload via ftp?

Just a question
If i upload the files via ftp with proper meta tag like
artist and album and title will it be automatically taken by music collection?

or is there any other way to bulk upload mp3s of an album ?

    no, it won't be taken automaticly be MC... you have to do it manually

    the only thing you can do is upload the songs via ftp, and then in the album create all the songs, and just write the filename of each song in the song form

    inside an album

    theres a tab called "songs"

    there you'll find a "add new song" button... you can add as many songs as you want at the same time...just click on the button

    so if i upload by ftp, what do i need to put in the name? is it the name of song or nameofsong.mp3 i have no browse button on the song page to upload from MC.

    first, create the songs

    then, enter each song on the little button EDIT

    then youll see a field where you can write the filename, for instance, song.mp3

    Ok, last question can I upload via ftp? and /songs is where my mp3s will go, i have chomd the folder /songs in root to 777

    of course you can

    just upload the songs, and then in he form of every song tell MC what is the file associated (just writing the name of the file)

    I have tried all and still wont play, i have song in /songs directory in joomla and when i click to listen, nothing happens

    I upload songs via ftp to songs folder

    then added the songs

    name of song ( any ) save and then there is an edit button

    using that I typed in the name of file

    for example
    name-of-song.mp3

    one thing. there must not be any space between the file name

    i had the issue of player not able to locate file because of that
    may be you can try that
